Once the ships are on the star field you can move them by picking them and draging them about.  A red box will appear around the ship you have chosen
To change attributes of your ship counter right click on the ship of choice.  A menu will appear where you can pick the option you would like to perform on the counter.  From here you can do any of the options shown.  If your ship has been given the ability to be invisible that option will show up here also.  To name a ship pick the "Change Label" option from the pull down.  Once the name is entered pick away.  The box will disappear.  Pick on the ship counter and the name of the ship will appear for good.
To add ship data to the ship counter's spreadsheet right click on the ship and  pick "Show Data."  The spreadsheet appears.  Just fill it out with the data for that particular ship.  Pick away and the spreadsheet will close.  The spreadsheet can be opened anytime you wish to review or edit the data as the ship takes hits.

Your ships are chosen, and positioned on the star field.  Each ship has been given a name for easy reference during the game.  You have filled out a spreadsheet for each ship.  All you have to do now is to pick the "File" from the menu and "Save Game."  Now the file is a saved scenario you can play later or share with a friend.  As long as you don't overwite the original file you can play it as many times as you want.  To play the scenario at a future date just pick "Load Game" from the "File" menu.  Be sure you give your scenario file a clever name so it will be easy to identify.
